Dr. Maryse Pion
Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, Acupuncturist, Advanced Concussion Management Practitioner
Dr. Maryse Pion has more than 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist and 18years of experience as a chiropractor and acupuncturist. She is a graduate of the University of Ottawa in physiotherapy, a certified chiropractor from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto as well as a licensed acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario. She also completed her Masters in Rehabilitation at McMaster University. She has achieved certifications in concussion management, taping, orthotics and more. In 2005, Dr. Maryse returned to her hometown of Cochrane, ON, and opened Back In Motion Plus, a rehabilitation and wellness clinic, where she worked as a physiotherapist, chiropractor and acupuncturist. In 2015, Dr. Maryse moved to Orléans, ON. where she continued her career in a multidisciplinary centre and a wellness clinic. In September 2019, Dr. Maryse opened Back In Motion Plus in Orléans, ON. Her goal is to provide high-quality care and help people live a healthy and active life. Dr. Maryse is actively involved in her community as a director and trainer with girls’ hockey. She is also an avid athlete who trains and competes in several “Spartan” races annually. As a mother of four children, she understands the importance of time management, health and a balanced lifestyle.
Michel Bilodeau
Rehabilitation assistant

Michel obtained his Bachelor in Human Kinetics in Trois-Rivières in 1992. Afterwards, he obtained his diploma in rehabilitation in Sherbrooke in 1996. He also followed a few courses, including manual therapies with his professional association. He worked in the private sector for 18 years and the last 9 years, he worked in residence for seniors. His goal is to provide the best treatments possible to patients with the goal to move forward in their healing.

Jessica Bourdeau
Rehabilitation assistant

Jessica has completed her bachelor in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa in 2024. Her goal is to create a positive and supporting environment where patients can feel confident and motivated to achieve their goals. She hopes one day to pursue a career in physiotherapy. Jessica competed in basketball and track and field and in her free time, she loves activities that keep her active in nature.

Rania Djebbi
Rehabilitation assistant

Rania Djebbi is a physiotherapist who graduated from the Faculty of Health Sciences UPSAT in Tunisia and is currently pursuing the accreditation of her diploma in Canada. Skilled in manual therapy, she has extensive experience working with patients of various ages and different medical conditions. Fluent in French, English, and Arabic, Rania can easily connect with a diverse range of patients. A former athlete, she is passionate about sports and travel and is also the mother of a two-year-old child.

Catherine Mitchell
Rehabilitation Assistant

Catherine is a new rehabilitation assistant at Back In Motion Plus. With a strong academic background such as a College Diploma in Health Promotion, a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Physical and Health Education, and a College Diploma as an Occupational and Physiotherapy Assistant, hoping to further her knowledge with a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy. Catherine brings both knowledge and passion to the field of rehabilitation. Her lifelong involvement in hockey (majorly) and different sports such as softball, soccer and basketball - both as a player and a coach - has deepened her understanding of athletic performance and physical health. She is deeply committed to helping individuals overcome physical limitations and become the best versions of themselves. She is excited to expand her expertise and contribute to the team at Back In Motion Plus, where she can continue working with athletes and supporting clients on their rehabilitation journeys. 

France Mélançon
Administrative Manager, Receptionist
France is the administrative manager and receptionist at the Clinic. She will always offer you a warm and friendly welcome and ensure that your visit is a pleasant one. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts with Specialization in Law and Justice from Laurentian University. She also has certificates in Forensic courses from BCIT and a Law Clerk Diploma from Collège Boréal. Having worked in the legal field for many years, she decided to pursue a career in health. France loves learning new things which falls in nicely with her passion for traveling, reading and baking. She will also ensure there is always a treat for the patients!
Lexia Pion
Receptionist, social media
Lexia, who works as a part time receptionist, will always welcome you with a friendly smile. She enjoys meeting new people and is eager to learn new things. Lexia also works as a lifeguard and swim instructor for the City of Ottawa. She would someday like to study and be in the medical field herself as a specialist. In her free time, Lexia listens to music as she lets out her creativity into craft projects, she likes to stay active by running and practicing yoga/pilates and she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
Olivia Savage
Receptionist

Olivia is one of the receptionists at Back in Motion Plus. She’s a bilingual student that enjoys connecting with clients and making everyone feel welcome. Olivia plays competitive hockey with the EO Stars, a sport she’s always been passionate about. At school, she stays active by participating in a variety of sports, including volleyball, soccer, and football. In her free time, Olivia enjoys going to the gym, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.

Isabelle Marion
Receptionist

Isabelle is a bilingual receptionist at Back in Motion Plus, who is passionate about health, sports and medicine. She studies Kinesiology at the University of Ottawa and plans to become a physiotherapist. She wishes that all patients obtain the best care possible and for their needs to be respected. Her goal is for everyone to live a healthy and energetic life.  Isabelle grew up playing a high level of competitive hockey and she now also teaches hockey players of all ages in the region. She loves to spend time with her family and her friends, especially while doing any outdoor activity with good music.
